the weather was good and i just finished recovering from shin splints due to some intense run training the past couple of weeks, (at least for me) i got up to like 47 miles in a week with 3 hard days. i still feel a shin splint on the left leg a little but for the most part its gone.
I had a good race today, went out feeling really good and finished strongly without feeling like i wanted to die. the splits were 5:26, 5:28 and 5:28, was really happy with the consistency.hopefullly next race i can get in the 16:30s. the overall time was 16:53 i think i didnt have a chip and was labeled "an Unknown" on the results, hehe.
